Hi, I just joined the community ^_^ I'm a life time UVM fan & alumni (season ticket holder FTW!) and have literally been going to UVM games since I was born (23 years and counting). So I'm still adjusting to being in the Hockey East instead of the ECAC...when I first heard of the change I was unsure, I just hate changes to my hockey traditions.
Just got back from the UVM - Ottawa game, which the cats won 5-2. Good game, a wonderful releif from the pentalty strewn games I've seen lately (the michigan games and Dartmouth game as well..didn't see or listen to the BC game dunno how that was). Honestly sometimes you need to just put away the whistle and let them play. It was also great to see that cat's break out of their scoring rut, they have had good chances, but just couldn't get the puck in the net, hopefully that curse is now broken *grin* I'm pretty optimistic about this season, got some great talent, freshman Stalberg is going to definately be someone to watch in the future - got the size, the speed, the skills, and good hockey sense.
If you're ever in the area definately stop buy and see a game at the Gut (if you can get tickets), cause it's a great place to watch a game.
